HOW TO MAKE GINGERBREAD COOKIES

Do We Have To Use Nutmeg and All Spice? Also, Is Golden Syrup The Same As Pancake Syrup? Please REPLY

All the recipes I’ve used so far use molasses. I’m curious how It will taste with golden syrup. I’ll try this recipe sometime, but I’ve got a few more experimentations I need to do before I get to this one.

I had no clue what “copha ” was so I googled it. This what Wikipeda said, “Copha, a registered trademark of Peerless, is a form of vegetable fat shortening made from hydrogenated coconut oil.”

.. golden syrup, similar to maple syrup I guess, but a lot thicker .. you can use treacle if you have that

.. otherwise known as baking soda, not to be confused with baking powder .. although they are similar
